This negative review is in no way due to the cheating aspect of this story. I’m not a reader who rants on about cheating. I’m a realist. Cheating happens. In my opinion it’s not always a deal breaker. There are more devastating things that can occur in a relationship. I believe it can be forgiven depending on the circumstances. This was Storm and Keira’s story. I found both characters to be weak. Too weak for an MC president. Keira unbelievable as an MC president’s wife. Not what I expect in a MC romance. There was too much emphasis on their daughter Cyan. She was annoying and their relationship with her was annoying. The padlock to deal with his sex addiction was beyond absurd. The story went from past to present frequently which disrupts the flow of the story. I was excited for this book but by page 338 I’d had enough. I’ve read many MC romances. One of my favorite genres. My favorite couples Deuce West and Eva Fox-Deuce defines MC President. The great MC love story between Ginny Lemon and Grizz. I was optimistic this story would be a good one but if you’re going to invest time in a 600 page book the characters have to pull you in to their lives. If you are looking for your next MC book boyfriend there is no Kane “Tack” Allen in this story. You did a fantabulous job! Proven again why you're my favorite writer in the MC & Mob genre. Nyx was always going to be my favorite (including his Guilia). Storm's behavior, in previous books in the series, never made me hate him, although I was hopeful that his backstory would show a deeper side to his "cheating, whoring, drug addicted" life. Keira's life also made me want her to have a reason to be happy as she raised Cyan on her own. That they both, as parents, put Cyan's well being above their own needs & wants was the redeeming quality that they needed to shelter together during "Storm" of their lives. This tiny family had so much to overcome that it seemed hopeless. Yet all three persevered. Lessons were learned from mistakes. Truths were sifted from lies. Personal growth flourished regardless of abusive beginnings. And underneath it all is the love, loyalty, & lives of the Sinner's support. Storm worked exceptionally hard to prove himself to be worthy of his family. Keira grew into the woman she wanted & needed to be. And Cyan proved that her resilience was enforced with her parents' love. The epilogues are greatly appreciated. And needed. Please do more epilogues for the previous & future books. While Nyx is still my favorite, Storm stands beside him. I dedicated the weekend to finish this book because for some reason Storm's behavior, & Keira's & Cyan's struggles in the previous books had me vested in the outcome. Ms.Akeroyd, I felt your anxiety & hope for Storm's storyline. And may I offer you my congratulations on a job exceptionally well done! You don't cut corners, you don't rush, you don't short change your readers. You deserve 5+ stars. PS: I've read every single book you've released. All of them are 5*.
